Pervasive Memory

Gianni Corino

How will we deal with memory embedded into our environment, in objects and places? Pervasive memory is a conceptual and design framework that aims to open up the discussion about digital memory in the context of ubiquitous computing, Internet of things and locative media. Pervasive memory is not strictly about technology, even if it could appear so, it’s mainly a cultural and to some extent narrative and social perspective as long as it can be inscribed in the track of cultural technologies developed to collect, store and share memory.
