I am an MPhil/PhD student with Transtechnology Research at Plymouth University. After obtaining a PGCE, I began my career as a lecturer in an FE college within the Faculty of Art and Design. This experience sparked my research interest as I observed intriguing questions about how perceptions of objects vary between real-life and online spaces.
My research leverages Object Oriented Ontology (OOO) to explore the perceptual differences and similarities between tangible and digital environments. By applying OOO, I aim to uncover insights into how objects are perceived in these two contexts.
I believe that investigating these perceptions can lead to valuable insights for refining educational strategies and enhancing the integration of digital tools. My enquiry strives to bridge the gap between tangible and digital experiences, ultimately contributing to a deeper understanding of object perception and more effective utilisation of digital environments.
